Need someone to talk to? You're not alone.

CAP is a partnership program with the Shalem Mental Health Network. Shalem has carefully selected professional, experienced counsellors within the Burlington area. All counsellors have a master’s degree, are members in good standing of a professional regulatory body and are passionate followers of Christ.

Services

CAP offers a solution-focused counselling model of up to 6 sessions per year. A counsellor will help you to develop strategies to cope with and resolve a variety of issues, including marriage difficulties, adolescent and children’s issues, bereavement, stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction and abuse. When you call Shalem, just mention that Faith Church is your church home. They will speak to you about your individual needs and put you in touch with a counsellor to set up an appointment. Every effort will be made to ensure an appointment is available within two weeks of your call. To use CAP, you do not need a referral from your doctor or pastor.

Shalem keeps calls and appointments completely confidential and CAP services are provided to Faith members free of charge.
