1. Opening: What is something you’ve changed your mind about, in your life?

2. In times of tragedy, it’s common to ask: Why? And who’s to blame? Is this God’s judgment? Share about a time when you found yourself asking these questions. Read Luke 13:1-5. What does Jesus’ teaching here add to this discussion?

3. Jesus calls everyone to repent. What does it mean to repent? What does a life shaped by repentance look like?

4. Read Luke 13:6-9. What about Jesus’ parable resonates most closely with you?

5. What is something you can do this week to align yourself with Jesus’ best plans for your life? If you had one day left to live, how would you use it?
