Loved: Share a memorable experience of worship and praise. What made it memorable?
Shaped:
- Review the different words for praising in Psalm 34:1-3. How full-bodied (literally, physically) is your praise? Does this matter?
- Scripture tells us to praise God “always”! Talk about how praise can be (1) honest expressions of delight, (2) intentional acts of worship, and (3) a lifestyle of trust.
- What are some of the 10,000 reasons you have to bless God?
- How have you been shaped by the call to praise God? Share about a time when you chose to praise even when you didn’t feel like it.
- How can praise be a weapon against enemies and idols? (Check out the amazing story in 1 Chronicles 20!)
