Text: Revelation 3:7-13
Title: “Church, Walk through the Open Door!”

1. Opening: What is your favourite place to go when you need peace?

2. Describe the church of Philadelphia, using Revelation 3:7-13 (and Pastor Cara’s sermon). What’s going on? How is Faith Church like or unlike this congregation?

3. What does Jesus say to encourage this church? How is his message encouraging to you / to us?

4. How, if at all, are you convicted or challenged by this letter?

5. What is the future that Jesus has prepared for those who love him? Share any glimpses or foretastes you’ve had of this future.

6. “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Based on this letter, what is the Spirit saying to you? to Faith Church? How will you respond? Note: Anytime you reflect on what the Spirit is saying during this series, consider sharing your insights with others for communal encouragement, correction, accountability, and/or growth.
